Nov 8 2022 Table Setting and Dining Etiquette

TTOC please take attendance. As emailed.

Students - I know we were going to 'make' our rice krispy pumpkins today, however, we will make these the next day I am back in class - hopefully by Nov 10 2022. Thursday.

TTOC - My awesome TA Brennan from block C should have made you extra copies for this class (Block D) re: student table setting hand out.

TTOC - please show students the below 3 min video.

TTOC - Hand out table setting diagrams. Brennan should have provided you with these.

Students - Using the list below fill in the numbers on your printed diagram with the correct item. When complete - please put your completed sheets inside your duo-tangs (go to the D drawer to locate your duo-tangs).

Table Manners 101: Basic Dining Etiquette


Group Work: TTOC - please assign each lab group a basic dining etiquette tip. Lab groups to create an 'Etiquette Poster' re: their assigned tip. Paper and markers are available in the side cupboards beside the classroom entry door. If you need more paper please retrieve this from the staff room copy area. 

Lab groups - please be sure to put ALL student names on your poster before handing it in to the TTOC. Be ready to present these posters to the class.

TTOC - please have lab groups present their posters. 

Hold class discussion post presentations. 

Time at the end? Uno's at the front.
